Kia orana my name is Memory and I am 11 years old. My culture are Cook Island and Tongan. I have 3 older siblings, Tata, my older brother , Nevaeh and Qweenie, my 2 older siblings. I am a year 7 at Pt England School and my favourite food is McDonalds . I like to play Rugby and Softball but I don’t play them. My goals for this year are to participate in every sport , apply for house captain and learn new things!
Today in writing for literacy we learnt about the structure of a simple sentence. there are 2 parts to a simple sentence:
The subject and predicate and verb.
A simple sentence is also an independent clause because it contains one complete thought. Here is my example:
today I went to school subject is I and the verb is went and predicate is to school .
